Ms. Rue attended college at Arcadia University where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in History and minored in Education and Spanish. Ms. Rue is in her fourth year of teaching at Our Lady of Good Counsel School. While Ms. Rue sees the value in traditional teaching styles like lectures, she likes to supplement this learning style by adding more innovative and hands-on techniques in her lesson plans. The close-knit community at OLGC is one of Ms. Rue’s favorite things about teaching in Catholic School. Personal attention, faith-based education and innovative learning experiences are the foundation for Ms. Rue’s teaching style. Outside of the classroom, Ms. Rue enjoys musical theater and has appeared in numerous productions when she was in school. Her passion for the performing arts is what lead Ms. Rue to become involved in the PAC (Performing Arts Club) Program at OLGC.
