All parents planning on volunteering in the new school year must adhere to the guidelines of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s Safe Environment Program. There are two types of Volunteer programs.
1. You plan on only volunteering on an occasional basis (3 times or less) per school year, such as school trips, parties, etc.
2. You will be volunteering more than three times a year.
If this will be the first year you are volunteering, please request a Safe Environment packet from the School Office by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. This packet will contain all the forms and instructions needed to become a volunteer.
One of the component of the Safe Environment program (for those volunteering more than three times a year) is to attend a local parish Protecting God’s Children Class.
All volunteers must take the “Protecting God’s Children” Training Class. Any new volunteers who need to attend this training class can register via the link below. If you cannot make a specific class, there are other upcoming classes in our neighboring parishes.
Volunteers must also complete Safe Environment Part II: Protecting God’s Children. This is an online training session of a mandatory reporting of suspected Child Abuse.

Once both parts of the Safe Environment Training and all clearances are completed, please mail, e-mail or hand deliver copies of your clearances and training certificates to Our Lady of Good Counsel School 611 Knowles Avenue Southampton, PA 18966.
