Car Line Procedures

Car Line procedures are put in place to accommodate the flow of traffic on our school campus. Students may begin to be dropped off starting at 7:45 AM and no later than 8:15 AM. Please refer to the map of our school campus, found below, for the flow of traffic and which entrances to utilize.  

Car Line Procedures: Morning Drop-Off
**Two entrances are used to drop-off our students.**

Entrance #1: South Driveway/2nd Street Pike – Families with Pre-K Students
Families with Pre-K students are to enter the campus using the south driveway (next to the church) by way of 2nd Street Pike. Enter the bus lane adjacent to the school building and stop at the white cross walk. No student is to exit the car until you have reached the white cross walk. If there is a bus in front of you, please wait for the bus to safely unload and leave before your children exit the vehicle. A staff member will greet you and escort your Pre-K student into the main entrance. Vehicles are then to exit to the left and out to 2nd Street Pike. For the safety of our children, please do not park and walk students through the parking lot and traffic lanes.

Entrance #2: North Driveway/Knowles Ave – Families with students in grades K to 8
Families with students in grades K to 8 are to enter the campus using the Knowles Ave entrance (across from Ace Hardware) and continue to pull up to the front of the school. Please pull all the way up to the white painted stop line. No student is to exit the vehicle until it has reached the front entrance. For the safety of our children, please do not park and walk students through the parking lot and traffic lanes. Students will be greeted by a staff member and directed into the building via the Gym entrance.

Car Line Procedures: Afternoon Pick-Up
Pre-K students will be dismissed from the Gym doors at 2:30 PM. All students (K – 8) will be dismissed from the Gym doors at approximately 2:50 PM. Please enter the parking lot via the North Driveway (Knowles Avenue) and park adjacent to the Gym following the corresponding white arrows and pull up all the way to the front of the lane. Parents are to approach the Gym doors where students will be escorted out of the Gym doors by a staff member. Please immediately direct your children to enter your vehicle. In order to keep traffic flowing, we ask you to refrain from congregating outside of your vehicles. To ensure everyone’s safety, we ask you to please exit slowly and follow the instructions of our staff members directing traffic.
