The Educational Improvement Tax Credits (EITC) program is designed to allow eligible businesses and individuals to designate their tax dollars to support Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. This is one of the few opportunities you have to direct your tax dollars to a specific destination. These donations are then used for tuition assistance. Simply put, EITC allows you to redirect your state tax dollars to the Catholic school you designate to help families with tuition assistance and to keep our school thriving. The program requires a minimum of only $1,000. You are eligible if you individually OR your business pay $1,000 or more a year in income taxes to the State of Pennsylvania. In return, you receive a 90% tax credit for your 2-year commitment. The EITC program has accomplished what many in Pennsylvania have been advocating for years - a way for the business community to be directly involved in education.
The Educational Improvement Tax Credit program is a win-win in that OLGC School receives 100% of your contribution which the school uses for tuition assistance and you receive a 90% tax credit from the Commonwealth of PA.

The Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) has increased and posted the EITC and OSTC family income levels for the 2022-2023 school year. The EITC and OSTC’s new 2022-2023 family income level is $105,183. The allowance for each dependent is $18,514. So for a family with one dependent, then the family income level would be $123,697 ($105,183 + $18,514); if there are two dependents, then the income level would be $142,211, and so on.
