Honors Requirements

Honors Math:

• Standardized Testing Grades:
  • Math: NP of NCE - 90% or above
  • CSI: In the range of 125 (118 or above)
  • Reading: NP of NCE - 85% or above
• Final Grades in Math:
  • From Grade 3 entering the program in Grade 4: VG or O
  • From Grade 4 entering the program in Grade 4: 93 or above
• Final Grades in Reading:
  • 85 or above for all students
• Effort Grades
  • Must be a "4"
• Teacher Recommendation

Honors ELA:

• A combined Reading/Language Arts average of 85 or above in the Reading Comprehension Test of the Standardized Testing
• Evidence of above average performances on English Language Arts Level Mastery Tests (Diocesan Level Testing) (“Above average performance” is interpreted as a score of 85 or above.)
• Consistent grades of 85 or above in English Language Arts on Report Card
• Teacher Recommendation
