Mrs. Kristin Hockenberry is bringing her years of experience, firstly, being a mom of four children. She has also been “homeroom mom" over the years, starting with her daughter who is now a PSU Junior, her teen boys and most recently for her third grader. She previously was a Learning and Life Support aide at her former hometown school in Central Pennsylvania. She has always enjoyed working with children and has touched the lives of many special needs children she worked with in the past. It’s not unusual for a parent of one of her former students to stop and thank her for the care and patience she showed for their child. It’s just one of the times she finds working with children so rewarding! She is looking forward to a great school year and enriching the lives of the children she will be working with at OLGC! Mrs. Hockenberry has been married to her husband, Jim for twenty years. They have four beautiful blessings, daughters Mackenzie and Chloe and sons James and Nicholas. In her spare time, she enjoys camping throughout the East Coast with her family.
