Mr. Close is a first year teacher at OLGC. He is a graduate of Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor's degree in Health and Physical Education. Mr. Close believes that being physically active is not only great to keep the body healthy but is excellent for mental health as well. Outside of school Mr. Close loves nothing more than spending time with his wife and two daughters. He is an avid college and high school wrestling fan. He enjoys watching the Phillies and is a huge football fan where he cheers on his favorite team.....The Detroit Lions. Mr. Close wants his classes to be as fun as they are educational while making sure that students from all abilities and skill levels can be successful while they learn to foster a love of physical education that will last a lifetime.
